Speakeasy Sideshow is the solo project of MC Speakeasy (Tom Everett) from Kolab. The majority of the beats used in Speakeasy Sideshow are supplied by Si Rez formally of Harbour City Electric who now performs with King Kapisi and @ Peace. The sound could be described as matured raps over physcadelic jazz beats.

Tom's past performances include; support for De La Soul (2008), MC for J star (2009), support for Lyrics Born (2009) Rhythm & Vines (2009) Baywatch (2009), support for Akil (Jurassic 5, 2010) Big Day Out (2010), support for TI (2010) and support for Pete Rock (Highlife 2012). Speakeasy has also completed several tours of New Zealand and Australia.
